Ermes Contextual DLP
This video walks through the beta of Ermes Contextual DLP — a browser-native capability that uses AI to analyze what users type, copy/paste, and upload directly inside the browser, in real time.
Three use cases are covered:
- Detecting sensitive data entered into AI tools
- Monitoring copy/paste behavior across web applications
- Identifying unauthorized file uploads via the browser
Unlike traditional DLP solutions that operate at the network or endpoint level, Ermes works at the browser layer — where the actual interaction with AI platforms happens. This gives security teams visibility and control over data flows that would otherwise be invisible.
Why it matters: As AI adoption grows inside organizations, the browser has become the primary attack surface for data leakage. Contextual DLP is the foundation for AI Control — knowing what your users share with AI, before it becomes a problem.
