As IT teams gear up for their 2024 projects, we wanted to remind you of the improvements we’ve made to RealVNC Connect.
Keep things confidential with improved screen blanking
When accessing a device remotely, you can’t always know what prying eyes are about. Our screen blanking feature lets you access a remote Windows desktop device while having the screen appear black.
There is also a privacy icon that lets you know that the screen is being blanked. So, you can connect, safe in the knowledge that your desktop’s hidden from prying eyes. Check out our plans and packages to elevate your connectivity today!
Presence for RealVNC Viewer
Presence allows you to see which of your cloud-connected devices are online and ready to connect to, giving you greater visibility and making everything just that little bit easier. If you see a green icon, then that device is online and ready for connections. A grey icon means that device is offline and unavailable. It’s as simple as that.
Session recording on On-Demand Assist
You can now record your on-demand sessions to support your audit and training initiatives. Simply hit the ‘Rec’ icon on the toolbar during a session to capture the screen and save it to a location of your choosing.
Native integration for Duo Authentication
Protecting your sessions with the Duo Authentication method is now easier than ever before.
Our native integration lets you directly link RealVNC Connect with your Duo account making it quicker to set up and easier to implement.
Session logging with Audit
Our Audit feature spares your team from admin by giving you a 14-day running log of key account events. Complete with timestamps and dates, you have a fully auditable, real-time log of activity to hand that can be exported as a .csv file or via API Access.
